Finally got my truck today! I love it, but the pickup was not the best. First, I was not given a choice of SC locations. I had to go an extra 50 miles from the SC nearest to me. Quite a trip!. Second the truck finish looked like poop - Streaks and large discolored spots. They spent about 5 min with me showing the differences between the CT and my 3P. Then I was on my way. For a business to sell an $80,000 truck that looked like that is ridiculous. If I hadn't waited 4 1/2 years and driven an extra 50 miles I would have refused to take delivery. Just shameful.
You DEFINATELY should complain at the very least!

They should have washed it and wiped it down before you got it... Also, only spending5 minutes? I would have just kept asking questions... We were there for over an HOUR when we picked ours up! Detailed inspection (thanks Everyday Chris for your list!!), went over things like, how to remove the wheel covers and put them back on, etc...

Sorry for the bad experience, but Congrats on your new Cybertruck!

It’s a shame that SC’s are running with a skeleton crew since the cutbacks. The remaining employees are working harder and buyers are getting shafted on the delivery experience. Kia buyers have a better delivery experience than some $80k + Cybertruck buyers.

Haha! That's ignoring the most important thing.

Getting a perfect Kia is not gonna cut it for me. Even the worst Cybertruck Tesla made all month is more mind-blowing (in a good way). But it sounds like the main problem was it wasn't prepped well.

Update — Thanks for all your replies. I washed the truck yesterday and almost all the crap was removed. Didn’t have to use any BKF or Citrus stuff, just soap and water. If the SC had done that this whole thread wouldn’t exist.

Plus a lot of them are kids who really just don't give a $#@%.

Congratulations! I had pretty much the same delivery experience with mine. Good news is my experience has been very positive since then. Amazing truck. I know you will love yours.
