At least here in TX. And we get snow like once every 2-3 years.
Well I’ll be damned, I thought the chances of snow in Vegas are near zero permanently but apparently this is not the case

We get snow every year. Only question is whether it sticks in the valley and that happens about every seven or seven years.

They may be getting delivered but I can tell you that picture is not in Las Vegas. Maybe getting loaded up in SoCal to be delivered.

Yeah, I figured. I didn’t get a chance to explore the area when I got my rock sliders installed had less time than I was anticipating and had to Uber back-and-forth after I dropped my car off so no sightseeing.

Yeah, lots of parks are made that way; it's how California staffs its parks with guides and takes parking fees. Lots of kids' stuff is run by volunteer coaches. Donating to your town is a classic move to get a positive public image.

In an optimal world, we'd pay people to do stuff, but also that money has to come from somewhere. And people with money are famous for not wanting to let others choose how it's spent.

Sometimes if you want something done, you just have to do it (or pay for it) yourself.

-Crissa
Fair enough. Police and legislators and such just worry me a little more than other causes one can donate to for obvious reasons. I’d probably rather that than the police force go completely without but I think it’s something to consider if there is ever anything resembling a conflict of interest.
A little sketchy.
Like say for example a particular donor was the owner of a large casino in Vegas and that same casino got either shorter response times or less harassment of clientele or whatever else a casino owner might want…is that kosher?

seems to me like the perfect police vehicle, big back seat for the perps, and storage front and rear for evidence recovery, etc. will be fun to see if this catches on.
NEWS: The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have started to receive their new fleet of 10 Tesla Cybertrucks, upfitted by @Unpluggedperformance @UpfitTesla to patrol the streets.

Sheriff Kevin McMahill: “We want these things because the cops inside will be safe no matter what. These stop bullets. They are also a tremendous recruitment tool for us.”

All 10 Cybertrucks were donated by billionaire Ben Horowitz—no taxpayer money was used.
