Thanks, that was useful! Which Boston-area SC did you go to? I've been thinking about the missing slat, but don't want the SC to worsen the situation, so haven't done it. And, I wonder about that washer fluid update. Mine seems rather spartan compared to how much fluid my Model 3 squirts. I'll have to go thru the software update notes to see if my truck got it.

I go to the Dedham, MA SC…primarily because they seem to have knowledgeable CT techs. They added my missing slat perfectly, no issues.

But, just know that I still inspect everything they do before I leave (as I’ve mentioned with the issues I’ve had with my wiper motor replacements, and frunk switch replacement).

In the past, I’ve gone to Peabody and Watertown, MA with my Model Y.

As for wiper fluid, it takes 2 or 3 wipes with fluid squirting before it will squirt fluid on the down and up wipe. That’s when you’ll have a lot more fluid on the windshield. BUT, I question if this will get our windshields clean when there’s salt slush on it. Won’t know until this winter!
