To answer some of your questions...

- The magnetic panels don't move or shift.

- You can hand wash the panels while still on your Cybertruck then take them off to completely dry and clean off the other side and the underlying steel of your truck.

- The magnetic panels should be removed and cleaned every other week if conditions are dry and clean. If your vehicle has been out in the rain or exposed to mud, dirt , salt or snow, you should remove and clean underneath the panels as soon as possible. The objective is to avoid keeping water, salt and grit from being trapped between the magnetic panel and your Cybertruck's steel finish. This can lead to pitting and corrosion in the worst case scenarios. These same rules actually apply to to PPF and vinyl wraps, but you can't realistically remove those for cleaning like you can with our covers.

Once we can develop an ideal pre-treatment solution that you can brush onto the stainless surface before applying the magnetic panels, you should be able to safely leave them on for longer periods of time. Until that time, we recommend that you clean regularly and play it safe.

- Our panels are durable and UV resistant. If properly cared for, they can last for years and be used over and over again indefinitely.

- Satin colors should be available in a couple of weeks.
Amazing!! Ya I was curious how to deal with them in Oregon where it rains 150-200 days a year. Sounds like the pretreatment might eventually help..? I am almost assuredly going to purchase the satin black. I assume it is easy for anyone to install onto the truck?

Thank you for your response! Roughly, how long does it take to place the panels (as you clean/dry etc)?

Congrats! We emailed months ago when you were just getting things figured out. Can you speak to my worry that you have so many pieces? On most ppf or vinyl for instance the fenders and sail panels are one sheet and is seamless. With your designs, there are going to be a ton of seems and I'm guessing that they will be visible as black lines at every bend and seam instead of the continuous look of a wrap. Most of the pics I've seen on your site are renders and not real photos.

Thanks!

Removable panels will never appear as seamless as a wrap, but you cannot easily change the color if you use a conventional wrap. We had to cut the extra pieces because the magnetic sheets did not look good when bent over some of the sharp creases of the Cybertruck's body. Doing so would have rounded the creases and would have changed the angular shape of the body style that we all like. Did you see the prototype photos and video in circulation around the internet?

What is preventing someone from stealing $2500? Is that a stupid question?
Generally Sentry Mode will discourage that.

Unless a potential thief is familiar with or owns a Cybertruck, they most likely would never know that you can just peel these off. Anyone who can afford a Cybertruck is most likely not going to be a petty thief, and they also know about Sentry Mode.

You probably have a higher chance of losing all 4 of your wheel covers to theft than 29 individual pieces all over your truck’s body.

It’s going to take you a while to place them on your vehicle the very first time, but as you get familiar with different techniques, you’ll get faster and faster with installation.

We haven't tested this yet. We will keep everyone updated on those test results. We might have to use a higher energy magnet for pre-wrapped vehicles.

You may want to change the image on your website so folks do not expect less pieces in the kit. Also, why no strip for the top of the tailgate?

Thanks for the suggestion.

As for the strip, it was too small and narrow to effectively apply a magnetic sheet that size, and the crease in the tailgate is far too sharp for the magnetic sheet to bend over without being lifted up along its top edge. Leaving any sheet lifted that way would create an air pocket and increase the risk of blowing off during higher speeds.

I can be a Michigan magnet wrap tester if needed.

Currently have a satin black ppf installed.
