I beleive so. Only issue would be if a nail punctured it. But that would not happen anywhere near as easy as a normal air mattress. It's closer to paddle board material.
A nail puncture is my concern, but it’s good to know you find it quite durable. thank you!

Which tent/tarp are you popping over it in the bed?

I haven’t figured that out yet. It’s still a bit cold here in Kentucky so I’m not yet planning on using my CT for camping for a couple more months.

We used this one last year. Fits perfect. The regular length version of the matterss is under the tent. That way, if we need to leave camp, we literally just slide the mattress out with the tent on top of it and our stuff inside, and set it on the ground. Slide it back in when we come back to the site. They also make an extended version that covers the entire bed and the tailgate.

I like that ability to just drop and go temporarily like that! I’m also toying with the idea of making something myself. I was thinking that I could get 4 flag holders to mount in the L-track and just stick tent poles in them and then make a shell out of Dyneema.

I found these holders ($39.10 ea when buying 4)

and I could get telescoping tent poles from somewhere like Cabela’s to make it nice and compact (as well as height-adjustable)

that way I could make it to where I could stand up in it during non-windy weather or lower it for times when it needed to be more sturdy.

The Dyneema can be pricey, but it would be durable, lightweight, and compact.

A lot to think about for me, but at least I have a couple more months of winter ?
