I got a call from Pat Patel in Dedham stating they had a steering related issue with mine and that it'll take at least a week to repair it. Did this happen to anyone else picking up in Dedham?

Not that I know of, was generally smooth, there were scratches on the plastic trim that they will be resolving at service appointment.
I've had experiences like this for other models though, they are usually conservative with their estimates in my opinion.

Sorry to hear about that. I picked up yesterday and it was smooth, no concerns, doesn't have the latest software yet, but am sure it will come soon.

Has anyone who has taken delivery, had contact from a "certified Tesla installer" for the powershare equipment and universal charger? I had completed the survey in January and received this email:

Thank you for completing the Powershare Home Backup survey. Your order is eligible for Powershare Home Backup hardware installation. Once your VIN is assigned and your delivery is scheduled, we will match you with a Tesla Certified Installer who will reach out to you to schedule a site visit. You will receive a follow-up email from Tesla once you have been matched with an installer.

Then in February, I received this email :

Thank you for completing the Powershare Home Backup survey.

The installation zip code you entered is invalid. To update, please resubmit your survey. If you do not complete the survey by March 1st, 2024, you will no longer be eligible. We will use this information to determine if you are eligible to receive free Powershare Home Backup hardware and help connect you with a Certified Installer.

I promptly completed the survey (Feb 16) using my zip code (even though I know I didn't have the incorrect one on the first submission). I never received any confirmation or acknowledgement after that.

So now I've taken delivery, I'm expecting that an installer will contact me about my installation options and scheduling, and presume Tesla is providing them with the universal charger and powershare connection equipment. The SC didn't have any information or idea when or what the next steps were other than they thought I'd hear from an installer, but then couldn't give me a timeframe other once delivery was taken.

I received an email from a person from smart charge america they weren't proactive I had to contact them a few times. I signed the contract now they are waiting on the equipment from tesla, then they'll schedule the actual install date. Send me a dm I can send you their email if you don't have it.

Delivery 5/14! incredible truck. Norwell is well understaffed and overwhelmed by the cybertruck deliveries. They were incredibly helpful and promised the world. Need tint! Many photos and videos taken while driving.

Yes Tint is absolutely necessary. I've never seen so many people pull out their phones so fast.

Hey MA/NE people! I need to give a shout out to Paul at Weymouth Auto Spa in MA. Just finished a wrap and tint job on the CT and did fantastic work! Used Gold Dust Black Satin. 15% on the windows. Matte PPF on the frunk and front to protect the wrap. Let me know if you want his info and i can send it along.

I thought it might be less but it’s the same. It looks a bit military now as well, which seems to keep a few people away until i walk in a store then they run up to the truck to check it out. We have fun watching sentry clips at the end of the day.

I just got my system installed this week, smart charge sent over a local contractor. The equipment is all in but the PowerShare isn't actually setup yet. So I'll let you know if that happens soon!
