How's your experience been with other drivers? Saw one the other day and folks were swerving in and out of lanes trying to take pictures, looked dangerous.

Folks are jonesing for a spot to take a picture for sure. The biggest problem right now is when I'm waiting for cars to pass in the fast lane, but they slow down alongside me (to get a look? take a picture?) so I really have to get aggressive to get into passing lanes. They just match my speed and trap me in.

Not as bad as when I was driving my Roadster back in the day. Folks would literally chase me down on highways, driving on shoulders or asking to do a drag race out of a light. That freaked out my wife a lot. Nowadays, the roadster still gets attention but it's much more muted.

Most everything is just curiosity creating distraction. I haven't seen a middle finger yet. :-D

I love the vanity plates on the R and the S, but the CT looks veritably naked on the front.

Maybe the MN legislature will just give in and exempt new Teslas from needing a front license plate.

IF you get a plate for the front of the CT, what would it say?

I just got an email to order the Founders Edition Cybertruck. Don’t get mad at me, but I’m not ready for it yet. Mainly financial reasons. Does anyone know how or if I can turn this down but still keep my reservation?

Picking up Friday. Was called today to have my pickup time pushed back an hour and a half of my scheduled time because it takes roughly 2 hours to get the car detailed and ready and there are 3 trucks being picked up before mine. Congrats to everyone!

Scheduled for delivery of AWD on Friday (7 Jun), 1pm, at Golden Valley, and the delivery went perfectly smoothly. The CT had 8 miles on the odomoter and was charged to 83%. Everything looked great, and we were told we had a 100 miles in which to document any issues we discovered and the SC would deal with it. Drove it home via the lakes and local streets - 15 miles - and everything felt just right. PowerShare equipment scheduled for installation this coming Monday. Software version v12 (2024.14.7) installed on the CT.

My experience was similar to @Tringa2 - pretty simple and painless. I took delivery on June 3rd from Rogers. I was scheduled for 5:30 PM but showed up around 4:15 and they had an opening at 4:30 so I was able to get mine early. I had checked it out the night before (it was in a line of 15 along one edge of their parking lot), so I already knew there were no significant exterior issues. The truck has been perfect the first week and 1000 miles. Very happy with it so far. It's been nice to be able to do "truck things" again without having to tow a trailer
