The music in the CT is just okay to me. Am I just turning it up enough? How can I make it better?
You definitely need to turn it up for full effect. You should get deep, full, vibrating bass from below and crisp highs from the front. Mid-frequencies might be a bit less noticeable than desired, though I still need to listen more before making a decision on that one. I'm no expert on sound systems, just a dude who really loves layered music, and listens carefully.

It sounds pretty darn good with the standard definition MP3 quality audio, but it sounds great when playing higher fidelity files right off the USB SSD. It's also somewhat sensitive to getting the front to rear audio balance where you like it.

Which is to say it's normal. We do tend to hear about it when someone gets one that is subpar.
My Cybertruck was #800, I received it way back in January 2024. There were zero defects. I have been driving only Teslas since 2012. My Cybertruck was the most flawless build of all.

Turn off the "Immersive Sound". The effect immersive sound makes is that you feel you are in a larger space, but the timing of the music becomes confused. What makes music, music, is timing. Your brain will work hard to make sense of the music when immersive sound is turned on, this makes for listening fatigue. You can try a test. Try to tap your foot to the music with immersive sound on, then turn immersive off and you will see that you can tap your foot to the music with greater ease.

I am both a professional musician as well as 44 years professional audio specialist. Turn off that damned Immersive sound!!

I've also noticed that immersive sound ruins some tracks, but I think it depends upon the recording. Some tracks open up and sound much better with immersive sound on. Of course, it's impractical to turn it off/on depending upon if it works for a particular recording, so I tend to just leave it on a low setting unless I'm feeling extra particular.

I've had mine since early April and love it more every month! It's a stunning example of modern automotive engineering and shows what can be done when not constrained by assumptions about how things should be done.

I've said for some time now that if Ford, GM or Stellantis made a truck this capable, and this nicely equipped, and this damage resistant it would cost them $150K or more to build and deliver. Which would make it a non-starter. Only Tesla can deliver this much value for only $79,990.

After 4.5 years of waiting for this truck, the day finally came. I picked up in Fife, WA a few days ago. Delivery experience was great. The hard part was getting used to the new controls and blind spots, WHILE negotiating Seattle's god-awful traffic. But after about 3 or 4 hours of driving I felt comfortable with it. After two days, I'm already in love with how it feels and drives.

I was worried I might be disappointed, because of all the promises and expectations that come with this truck. But in all honesty I couldn't be happier with how this thing ended up. Zero disappointment. So far.

- I was blown away by the sound system. It feels like being in a nightclub. And looks like it too.
- I love how the truck pauses/plays your music when you exit/enter the cab. This is a music MACHINE. That is one example of many little automations and touches that Tesla excels at. You do not simply DRIVE this thing, you EXPERIENCE it.
- Ride/handling is excellent. Driving is effortless and SO comfortable. Entry/exit auto lowers the truck....it's easy to get in and out compared to most trucks.
- Acceleration 0-60 on sport mode is breathtaking (this is just the bare-bones AWD model)
- UI and phone controls are fast, responsive, well designed.
- Camera views are good and clear. I had no problem getting used to the on-screen rear view camera. I set it to always be on the screen while in drive. Tonneau closed while driving not a big deal.
- New horn sounds like a firetruck, I dig it.
- It's amazing how this spaceship of a vehicle can morph from a sporty race car to a lifted off-road truck with the push of a few buttons.
- Supercharging and home charging are dead simple.

Overall, this is by far the best vehicle I've ever driven. If you're still waiting to pull the trigger, just do yourself a favor and buy the damn thing already.

I have to correct this after some poking around I did today. I've been downloading HiFi albums with lossless compression from Tidal while on wifi and I thought they were going onto my USB SSD. However, it appears all the downloaded music is going into Cybertruck's internal storage. I deleted a bunch of games in Arcade that I will never play to make room for more music.

For those who don't know, the MP3 tracks that are streamed over the truck's cellular connection sound noticeable inferior to Tidal's higher bitrate tracks. So, if you think the Cybertruck's sound system doesn't sound special, it might be the bitrate of your source material.

Nvm, I beat you to Fife, i was there on the 26th! Already landed in anchorage and got her home north.

Make sure to buy an A2ZEV adapter for CCS1 chargers in alaska, some dont work at all like in Trapper Creek but the FLO chargers work and so does Chevrolet Wasilla
