5th wheel will not work with the CT, the bed metal is fairly thin and not supported for a 5th wheel, also the range with that camper will be about 1/5 of what you get on a full tank in your tacoma just a heads up.Oops meant to add text.
The escape 5.0 is lightweight and can be towed by a Tacoma but I’m not sure the cybertruck 5th wheel compatible. The 5.0’s lines pair nicely with the CT.![]()
That’s why this is a dream setup…it’s not going to happen. 2 years ago I lived in an older Class b for 20 months. With the CT I’m probably going to go with a ground tent setup. While in the van I was considering adding an outside room and Dometic makes some nice inflatable tents that attach to the vehicle that can stand on their own allowing you to leave camp. The CT won’t be as high as a camper van so it might not attach to the rear like in the photo. Dometic also makes air tents that attach to the side of the vehicle.5th wheel will not work with the CT, the bed metal is fairly thin and not supported for a 5th wheel, also the range with that camper will be about 1/5 of what you get on a full tank in your tacoma just a heads up.
