The photo with the truck was taken at the Grand View Point overlook.

The photo without the truck is near the Neck Springs overlook.

Photos don’t do Canyonland Nat’l Park any justice.

Easy access from & Supercharging in Moab, UT.

Thank you, Elon, for the free Supercharging!

Thought of that few years ago, but even with full charge at Moab, going all the way to the end and back to a charger was cutting too close. Did youdo and where did you charge?

Definitely recommend the Shafer Trail!

I read that Schafer is a little technical in some spots?

I didn’t have time to investigate Schafer. Next time I’ll have more time to allow for potential difficulties.

I didn’t have my Urander 2.0 rack on because my Tesla Service Center appointment for my Terestrial Armor got pushed to 9-19-25 from 8-27, and I had removed my 1.0 rack... The boxes with the 2.0 rack are sitting in my garage, just waiting! I wanted to install it so bad for this trip!!

But with your input I’m have a better idea on Schaffer for next time! And I’ve yet to enter the park from the south entrance. More exploring!

I went to Moab, UT several years ago and went to several spots. What really impressed me was Dead Horse Point which I believe was in Canyon Land. Did you go there?

I got my CT 6 months ago but I haven't gone to other states except to our neighbor Utah. Do you think the vandalism for Teslas is no longer a concern? Thanks.

I don’t think Tesla vandalism is a great concern. I’ve seen 4 or 5 other Cybertrucks, to my surprise!

We drove past Dead Horse Point. Next time we will stop there and also do Schaffer trail, and might explore Canyonlands from the southern entrance. (As far as I know the North and South entrances nary a twane do meet, but I could be wrong.)

But amazing geography, and beautiful scenery. Tonight outside our cabin we had a buck deer and either two really young males or a couple of does.

I don’t want to go back to Scottsdale’s oppressive heat, lol! It was a fantastic trip!

Superchargers in Moab made it easily accessible.

And we caught part of the Moab Music Festival.

Dead Horse Point is a State Park. It is in the same general area as Canyonlands. Dead Horse is stunning Quite a spot. Not really concerns of vandalism here in Utah at present. Cheers.

When you check out Dead Horse Point, make sure to get the remaining maybe about 1 hrs before sunset. That's the beat time.

I don't know why the word "remaining" showed up in my previous reply.

I want to go back to Dead Horse Point because I arrived at the spot at sundown and missed the highlight.
I'm glad it's vandalism is not much of a concern.
Enjoy.
