From time to time I've noticed that when I put in a destination and start driving to that destination (whether on FSD or me driving manually) that I realize that I don't hear any audio queues such as "turn left in 100 feet" etc. I click the configuration gear and sure enough the navigation audio is muted so I click to unmute it and everything is fine. The next time I navigate somewhere, I still get audio queues, and this may be true for 1 or more drives after that, BUT every so often I am back to having a muted navigation audio that I have to un-mute.
Does anyone know why this happens? I'm pretty sure I am entering my routes the same way every time and I know I don't have the audio turned off by default. Yet it just seems to happen at random... Initially I thought maybe I was picking up a configuration from my Model 3 but I decided to check it and made sure both it and the Cybertruck were set to have audio directions enabled, but it still happens that sometimes they are not.
Not a major issue by any means but just wondering what is causing it or if there is a known fix, etc. TIA!
