Hey all, Had my truck for about a week now. Generally love it to pieces but I'm having a problem with my nav system. It will not remember my Home address and it keeps reverting to a nearby address that doesn't even exist. It also doesn't save favorites. Anyone run into this problem before? Anyone have any suggestions to fix?

Have you reboot the MCU by chance?

I did the standard reset. That did not fix it.

Mine *never* gets my house right - it always wants to go to the gated community next door. I believe Tesla uses Google maps API for navigation, so I reported the map error to Google and eventually the pin for my house was move to my actual house, and shows as such in the Cybertruck navigation. Cybertruck doesn't care. It likes my neighbors better than me.

I really wish you could set a location based on long/lat and have it consistently navigate there, or that it would learn from my interventions, because navigation errors are responsible for 99% of my interventions.

?Sheesh! You too? Heard mine has been sneaking of to that gated community as well when I’m at work! We may just need Century mode for Century mode!

Nav is flaky for sure. Just recently mine always started taking this odd detour to avoid a perfectly fine part of the highway. Makes FSD unusable. Anyone had routing issues creep up?

Yes, these navigation issues are common. My CT stopped dead on a freeway recently, and did a U-turn to find a non-existent dirt road. I stopped this nonsense, of course. Also, going "home" takes me on an endless loop throughout my neighborhood. I could go on-and-on.... )))

I wonder how much of my FSD driving issues are navigation related, or FSD programming errors? On certain local highways, my CT can not stay on the road. My friend has the same issue on the same road.

What I fear is that this is an issue where "nobody is responsible", meaning that Tesla uses TomTom, that has a defective navigation data base, and TomTom says it is Tesla's fault in the programming. Each party is within their standard deviation of error.... but my car is not on the road when I drive.

Keeping my car on the road in the center of the lane is priority #1. That happens about 90% of the time. The other 10% has great destructive potential.

Same issues for blocked roads. I have to travel on base about about once a month. And on the weekends all but one gate is closed. Yet it tries to route me wrong way. I have to setup two waypoints in my navigation to get around to the correct side.
