I am in the camp of what does it matter what it looks like?

That has always been the case with every car.
I see the car for about 5 seconds and then I sit inside of it.

Then I get out and never look back, until I get back in.

What matters most is the drive, comfort, and space and the CT for me, wins with all three of those wants and needs as a combination.

And if any spouse is opposed to it for looks, tell them look I married you and if looks were a part of it, that would have never happened. Then jump in your CT and drive as fast as you can;)

The Cybertruck's looks can be polarizing, so I suggested subtle changes to make it more visually appealing. For example, vinyl wraps (even a matte or satin finish) or personalized touches like blackout trims can help soften the truck’s aggressive look.
Do you really believe the Cybertruck looks aggressive? Or are you just lapping up the mainstream media's characterization of it as being too aggressive?

Pickup trucks in general tend to look masculine or aggressive. The Cybertruck? Not so much:

For those who haven't noticed, the media has taken every quality of the Cybertruck that is different from a traditional truck and positioned that difference as a negative. The big windshield, the big-ass wiper, the durable dent and rust resistant stainless steel, the "irregular" shape of the bed, the uncluttered interior, etc.

From where I sit, traditional trucks look like they are trying hard to look aggressive and tough, while the Cybertruck looks balanced, like it was designed with its form following its function. If you are intimately familiar with the Cybertruck you might say it's the only sensibly designed pickup truck on the market.

She still thinks Tesla lied to us about things but we are fortunate and can offered to pay for said lies :)
I'm guessing your wife has never developed an EV pickup from the conceptual design stage, built a factory, installed production lines, certified it for sale, and brought it to market before?

Am I right? ?

This thread continues to be quite entertaining. Thanks for piping in all.

My wife’s concern with the CT’s look is not that it’s aggressive or too masculine. She actually loves how our big boy RAM 2500 looks and very much enjoys driving it. She does not mind a rougher looking ride.

What really bugs her is how it different CT looks. She is not a fan of attention and likes to blend in. That’s the real issue. And yes, it would be my daily driver but our ’shared’ ride when we tow the Airstream.

But we’re making progress… She keeps telling me that she ‘saw another CT today’. And yesterday, she saw one wrapped in gold and went on about how SS looks better.

Slow and steady wins the race. ;-)
