Since the OP was about the update in general and not FSD, I will say that FINALLY it seems Apple Music is working correctly. Remembering the song when I left the car, shuffle, etc. Maybe they moved off the beta Music site finally.

Hmm, now that you mention it, it has been working. It was crazy to me after being away from Tesla for a year that the “Error loading music” or whatever it said still existed as it seems like a simple yet annoying bug given all you had to do was press the play button to get it working again.

I find I can apply gentle pressure to the wheel to get it back to the center of the lane - not enough to disengage FSD, but enough to gradually move the truck over.

On mine, it's gotten a lot better than it used to be. When it does happen the visualization shows it driving over the line, so it's aware what's happening (it's not that it doesn't know where the line is), it just doesn't care.

I use FSD 95%+. I’m seeing the left turn into wrong lane three times since new (non-FSD) update. Huh?!

But, the key area they really need to fix is route pre-planning. Know where you are going and get in the turning lane earlier when their is considerable traffic. this is the #1 reason I have to interrupt repeatedly during heavy traffic times. If I don’t it will be “that truck” and try to cut people off.

Still, it’s an 8/10 overall for Tesla BUT a 15/10 c/w any other vehicle manufacturer.

This is an issue for me, too: where there are two left turn lanes, FSD will pick the right one to start the turn but will end up in the left one to finish the turn, and isn't at all shy to completely cut someone off in that lane.

Agree: When turning on FSD - it also immediately wants to get into the far right lane. I ride motorcycles an that is THE MOST DANGEROUS Lane to be in. Cars merging on and off the road.

Additionally, FSD is not 'courteous' when in the right lane and someone wants to merge in front or behind. It just keeps motoring on like a old lady, no change in speed or providing more gap for someone to merge in.

3rd: FSD does not tightly integrate to the destination navigation, in that when my destination is 28 miles on the same piece of hwy...it wants to stay in the far right lane the entire way....again, terribly in polite and adds congestion to hwy merge's when a cars trolling in the right merge lane - only to stay on the main hwy.

The CT is quite noticeable and so is it behavior to other vehicles.

My FSD has hugged the left side of the lane since I took delivery in February, so that's at least one update behind.

The other issue that I've been having is that the truck often slows about 10-20 mph right after engaging FSD, and sometimes slows down for no reason on open highways (not the same as phantom braking).

Also have an ongoing issue of navigation having the wrong speed limit everywhere.

I too have most of these issues at some point. Mostly hugging the left. It seems that the update has done more harm than good. I guess the only good thing about all of this is that knowing it’s not a “my car” thing. It’s universal and will be fixed. Hopefully soon.
Tesla, you listening?!

Ever since the new update on the freeways, my cyber truck is riding the left lane almost on top of it. Can’t get it to center back in the lane having this problem. Every drive will not center the lane and rides the left lane on the freeway way too tight anyone else having this problem?
I do have it, not all the time. When it occurs, if I give slight pressure on squircle to recenter it will move to center and not disengage as others have said. Once centered, it then tracks fine. To me, it’s still an intervention though.

My FSD issue which has had no change since delivery last year is the I-95 HOV lane markers. Not sure if these are just in South Florida, or other places too, but current FSD just can’t handle them. If you’re in the actual HOV lane, it works fine. If in the lane directly to its right (so furthest left non HOV passing lane), it disregards the inner lane marker completely and drives right through the small ((3-4 foot wide) delineator spacer for HOV lane. I look like I’m drunk. Literally straddling the HOV delineation lane. My fix is to use “Hurry” to stay in HOV the entire drive, or use “Standard” to try and avoid this furthest passing lane that’s adjacent to it (in very heavy traffic, it still sometimes will pass here, and then I have to disengage). It’s been my litmus for every update, no change of behavior so far. This is absolutely an intervention issue for me. See attached picture for clarification on the twin HOV separation lines it fails on.

New change with 2025.8.6: (I did not think FSD was effected on these updates BUT there is a distinct difference with FSD after this update.)

The degree to which you can “nudge” the CT on FSD to center in the lane or choose a lane has drastically reduced- maybe even gone. In the past, if it was leaning toward one or the other turning lanes I could nudge to the one I wanted. This no longer works at all. Maybe in prep for FSD but man it’s annoying. I have also noticed an increase n highway lane changing. Actually silly driving IMHO. It will get in the left lane politely with all the blocks and then 7 seconds later get in the left lane. It’s as if it is preplanning only in ½ mile Increments. I try to let it dance as much as possible as most of this is not safety issues and I’m sure their are some people who drive like this.

That's placebo. You could never direct FSD with the wheel. This has been tested by people like Chuck Cook and considering wheel torque on one side satisfies the driver alert, it doesn't make sense.

My problem with new FSD update is my truck doesn't want to TURN RIGHT when oncoming traffic stops. I have to hit the pedal to send the msg to go.
Right on reds suck for me. It stops but never goes after the traffic clears. I have to give it the pedal too. It used to be fine. My other Teslas are great at it.

I am on .4 and mostly on interstate or hi speed 3 lanes when in the left lane it's running on top of the line and sometimes have to pull back in and send message. Has done this on all 3 updates since I picked it up one month ago the 5th.

Interesting. Mine did that when it was new but eventually was fixed somehow. Maybe it will go away with time.
