So it can’t act as a tour guide based on location data? Because it does have access to the navigation.

I recorded a voice memo of a pretty extensive route I take to avoid traffic. I just played it to Grok on my way out of the driveway. Works like a charm

There are too many things to say about my route, I don't want to read it to Grok two times a day, ha ha.
For now seems, like your best option is FYSD
(FULLL YourSELF DRIVING)

Been using FSD since 2018, does not offer the route I want for work and home, I know the shortest routes and want it to go a certain way; it's a pain in the ass to add all the waypoints to force it to get off the freeway at a certain exit, avoid busier routes, etc.

I want a "Record Route" feature and the ability to save it like "Trips" so that they will travel with my profile.
I want to use them for "Work" and "Home," or for any route I prefer to drive.
This way I won't have to break out of FSD multiple times per drive.

Also, FSD needs to be able to use Drive Thru like at Starbucks, Banks etc.
Now, maybe this isn't the same thing but close... I was using FSD. Fluffy pulled up to the base gate, waited for me to authenticate. Then, I tapped on the gas pedal and she resumed FSD right on queue. Super surprised. I was poised over the brake to stop her from running the gate but she didn't.

Okay. someone check my math. Today, just before getting to work, I asked Ara "What can you do with my Cybertruck like HVAC, volume, navigation?

I'm certain she said "I can do things like control the volume with the thumb wheels (sounded dumb to me), make it cooler or warmer, respond to "turn up the volume", you can tell me to set a speed limit, ...

Wait, what? Could this be the speed control we were looking for? Just found out too late in my drive to test it out.

It’s pretty interesting how much detail grok knows about your vehicle. I asked it something once and it threw in some kind of detail I didn’t expect about the truck. So later on I asked it to tell me everything it knew about my vehicle and it’s a decent length list.
It is, and with most things Grok sometimes you have to really force it into a corner to get it to tell the whole truth, workarounds like the "Kit" hack etc show that it can see more than it lets on, which is kinda scary when the robot lies to you.

Started with free Basic Grok. Was running out of daily access time mid-drive, so upgraded to next paid level. Super Grok Lite ($10/mo or $100/yr) enables much higher use.. More importantly, it now remembers our prior chat history & our conversations across any of my devices (like an iPhone or iPad). It also seamlessly transitions to any Tesla vehicle, when using my portable device as a key. Remembering fav routes for next time is not there yet, but coming soon per Elon. Direct control of the car is also on the way, supposedly. Right now it does really well changing routes on-the-fly like adding/deleting stops along the way. Saying “use the drive-thru” sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. However, one needs to make those changes early because It needs time to make them, or mistakes can be expected. Currently: CB on 2026.14.6.11 & FSD v14.3.4
