Took delivery yesterday of a shiny Cyberbeast. I have driven a handful of Teslas (Model S on a long road trip) but this is the first I have owned. The drive home was...'eventful' to say the least. Bordering on terrifying. Gonna keep it out of beast mode until I get used to the size, speed and handling...but this thing is SO FUN. I surprised my son at his school to pick him up and his reaction was hysterical. I have never seen the type of reactions to the cybertruck. I mean, people standing in the road to film me going by, kids screaming, parents waving. Nothing can really prepare you for the reactions people give this thing. I am a very undercover person and do not like attention...which im seeing is virtually impossible while driving this thing.

So, while I get used to this new vehicle, I would like to ask other owners what they use to keep this thing clean. The Tesla tech who handed the car off to me told me that Bar Keepers Friend is what they use in the shop. Also, I am a little shocked that the Cerberus beast logo on the tail gate is so faint. You almost can't tell that it's there on mine. Are other peoples beast logos almost invisible? Not that I really care what other people think, it's just I love that logo and wish it was a little more prominent and visible.

I am also thinking about wrapping it and curious what peoples solutions have been for the beast logo on a wrap. Did you just cover the logo? I have seen some wraps that have a Cerberus decal on top of the wrap, which looks a little gaudy. I would prefer it to be more understated, and have seen some people that have added a raised logo 'under' the wrap which makes it look almost embossed....which looks really cool. Curious on the communities experience with wrapping and any other general ownership tips/tricks. Pumped to have joined the CT/Tesla family.

Congratulations and welcome to the club!

For cleaning: Barkeeper’s Friend works well but make sure you get the soft cleaner kind, not the spray bottle.

I ultimately wrapped mine after trying to keep it clean for 2 months after delivery. It’s much easier to keep clean with no fingerprints after the wrap.

For the Cyberbeast logo, feel free to check out the 3D emblems at my Etsy store. It comes in black, silver, gold, red, or white. https://makerspacedude.etsy.com/

It's amazing people are still going ga-ga over the truck. I stop at many locations and people are taking photos and asking questions. I thought for sure it would have subsided by now. It's not nearly as crazy as earlier in the year, but it's still surprising to see people are still reacting. I just wish the haters would move on to the next new thing.

I personally couldn’t handle the finger prints specifically my neighbor walking over to talk putting his hand on it . IMO if I stuck with the stock stainless I would have wrapped it clear to keep that from happening. If you get a standard wrap they can put the sticker under it and it looks pretty cool. Might be able to do it with PPF but my guy said my PPF was so thick he didn’t want to take the chance it wouldn’t stick all the way around it perfectly

I did the DIY Detail metal ceramic, but honestly it tarnished the stainless (yellow/orange) so I pulled that back a bit with Citrisurf 77. Now I seem to have the benefit of less finger prints a decent new look and from this point forward have mainly just used Sprayway (non-ammonia) glass cleaner or rinseless/waterless car wash.

Citrisurf 77 just takes reading the directions. Couple minutes pulls up tarnish, longer passivates the stainless. I would use Barkeepers friend soft sparingly. That can alter the shine on the stainless to the point you are doing the whole truck.

I did clear PPF on my frunk just to dial back the bugs in the summer and make that easier. But far as DIY goes this is a super easy surface to wrap with vinyl or colored PPF. Also did satin PPF on the tail light, headlights.

I went with a Stealth Black PPF with regular black PPF beast on top. It is just the slightest noticeable depending on angle - much like the original. From this side pick you can't see "foundation series" all that well if at all. But at the angle of second pick you can see the beast on the rear.

Other mods were tinted windows and windshield and then custom paint on calipers (not covers). Color matched lambo yellow.
