Can you please explain how to drain the washer fluid tank? Syphon?

Also, the OM says to avoid water repellent type fluids, but you don’t seem to be having any of the problems it mentions.

The OM also says to only use ethanol based fluids, but I’m having trouble finding any. Suggestions Anyone?
I held down the wiper button until it all pumped out. This took surprisingly longer than I expected, but it was just a couple of minutes. Then I had to hose down the front end, because, yuk.

I've been experimenting with different washer fluids but haven't found a standout. I did not like the RainX washing fluid, even though I'm a fan of the coating.

AFAIK all automotive washer fluids contain alcohol as a cleaner/antifreeze, and many use methanol which is poisonous to ingest. Ethanol would have similar performance, but is not poisonous, and will get you drunk (which is probably why methanol is usually used).

I think it goes without saying (although I seem to be saying it) that washer fluid should not be imbibed, regardless of composition.

New Question guys and gals
A few times at a light I’ve felt my rear end definitely drop a little. I can’t speak to if it looks like it’s at more of a pitch out side of the vehicle more then normal but anyone is this normal? I have it in medium not high so it isn’t the 25MPG drop

In Higher Ride Height preference, the truck will periodically adjust based upon speed. There could be a time delay, so it won't necessarily happen right at a certain speed. This can be prevented by using the lower Ride Height preference setting. This provides about 8.4 inches of ground clearance.

It could also be that you set a lower or higher ride height at a particular obstacle, and it will adjust to that ride height at that location until you clear it.

Ok thank you. This make sense , I’m ok with it and staying in a higher ride hight as I love the truck as high as I can get it by looks. I just didn’t want to be looking like trophy truck squat in the rear ?.

Yeah I don’t know it’s strange. It’s just deferring back to the first station on the list I’m pretty sure I’m using the slacker thing also
While I don't think that it is supposed to work this way, I think that it has for me a few times.
After making all your setting, just tap your seat positioner so that it comes up with the "Save Profile" option.
You can probably do this from other places, it's just really easy this way.

I'm also intested in knowing if other owners just use Rain-X on their Teslas (not just CT) and if it has interfered with the dashcam at all.

This is my first Tesla so following manufacturing orders for now.

I drained the blue Smurf piss that was in the reservoir and filled it with Adam’s washer fluid. Much better and it’s clear.

My prior last new vehicle (Porsche Macan), was delivered in September and I stupidly assumed they had filled it with winter washer fluid. It froze up on the first cold day. I’ll never make that mistake again.
Is there a local retailer where you get “Adam’s washer fluid?” Can’t find it on Amazon.

Nevermind. Found it; bought it!

Best way Ive found to use radio is to hit the push to talk button on right hand steering wheel, say “play piano man by Billy Joel”. Or “play Scar Tissue by Redhot chili peppers”. Once the song comes up and plays you can skip ahead in that genre using the left scroll wheel. Just push it to the right. Hope this helps.
Try: "Play Motley Crue Shout at the Devil" and see if it will play.

My windscreen/wiper performance was significantly improved by a hydrophobic coating (RainX)
I whole heartedly agree. Not rainx washer fluid, not spray bottle. But the original flip top wax on wax off version.

it works so well I actually had no idea the squiters only sprayed on the up stroke. Rarely use wipers and certainly not the sprayers

If a thread already exist for this please feel free to delete and show me where?. Thought it Would be nice for us newbs to ask things here.

A week in and I have 2 questions
1: 60% of the time my radio goes to the first station being Spanish on the radio list? Why? Is this normal or do I need to set something up to just go to last played? Half the time it doesn’t
Yes, mine does this also. It starts up on the first channel on the dial which is a Spanish station here.

I also noticed that using the left scroll wheel to change up and down my favorites channels list sometimes skips and sometimes just doesn’t do anything.

I never even see radio stations, not sure what you're doing differently. I listened to the radio once when the truck was new, just to make sure it had one, and haven't used it since. I just play digital music, either streamed over the free wireless connectivity or downloaded to the memory inside the Cybertruck.

Use voice commands to stream the music of your choice. And then train it by using the "thumbs down" on music you don't like, and "thumbs up" on music you particularly like. With a couple of weeks/months of training, it will be playing lots of music you like without having to select it.

My music tastes are wide and broad, so if it plays something I like but I'm just not in the mood for, I use the left steering wheel button to skip it.

I like hi-fi sound (MP3s never sound very hi-fi) so I subscribe to Tidal so I can download the high bitrate versions and get awesome fidelity. You can really hear the difference in the depth of the music between regular MP3s and hi-fi versions.

2: does windshield wiper fluid suck this bad for real or is it just my truck? Even when holding it down to spray a minimal amount comes out and it’s basically running dry over the windshield? Also a few times when trying it the wiper staid in the down position? I’m sure I will have more questions soon ?
I get sent to Spanish stations as well. German too. Not just radio. Podcasts and music also. You got me. If you figure it out, let me know.
