How is everyone doing? Been checked out for a while and wanted to drop in and see how thing were progressing. Hope you all are doing well!

If you remember I had a early res and order which was placed. I then asked for it to be put on hold till non FS was available. I went months with no update to my order until June when I received a text saying it was on hold until November.

My thought was they narrowed down the possible window for transition from FS to non FS when they sent that update to me.

I haven't had the chance to read through the thousands of posts since I took my break from the forum so counting on old friends for an update.

Has there been any rumors/news on possible first orders for dual motor CT's? Is my November hold a possible start time.

Order is on Hold
Hold Expires Nov 2, 2024

If you are ready to take delivery, tap "Remove Hold". You will receive an update when your vehicle is available.

Thanks for the help.

I think the last we have heard from the company was Elon saying that demand for Cybertrucks was so strong they planned on selling Foundation Series only through the end of the year (or was it nearly the end of the year?). I wouldn't expect to see any non-FS until November/December.

Sure, it could happen sooner, but it could also happen later. It has to do with when demand for FS runs out. No one knows until it happens, including people at Tesla.

Just looked through the "post your pic" thread. It looks like you are enjoying your CT and getting out to some beautiful places with it. Glad to see.

It's rare that a company will go back and alter previous contracts for new terms.

Huh? They can't alter contracts that are already in force without the other party's consent. But, yes, it's common practice for companies to change contracts periodically, to deal with changing environments.

The claim is that current purchasers of Cybertrucks no longer have the "no resale" clause in their contract.

Yes, that's what I said.

Can someone help clarify this for me?

I reviewed my contract and confirmed that the clause is still present, as expected. After reading more comments in the forum, I understand this clause has been removed for new orders. I received my Cybertruck back in March 2024.

Here’s my question: I was assigned a VIN for a new order I placed for a Cyberbeast this past week. Since I'm in the process of trading in my current Cybertruck, Tesla has informed me that they won't accept it as a trade-in. Given this situation, how do I obtain the necessary documentation to sell my current Cybertruck, as I don’t plan on owning two now?
