Here's a great non-sponsored video that I found perusing YouTube for mentions showing the value and practicality of choosing RealWheels EV products. RealWheels EV Stainless Steel Running Boards (and hardware) are made in America and made of high-quality 304 stainless steel-meaning no rust; versus the other guys' imported products that are carbon steel, that will likely rust within a year or so.

I bought the CRMods for $610

Although they were extremely simple to install, look great, and seem to be well constructed, I despise them.

I’ve had trucks for years and always added running boards due to the high stance and my wife “needing” them to climb into the truck.

In my experience, the running boards have always mounted in such a way that they are lower than the interior floor so that they are just what you’d expect… a lower, intermediate elevation step to assist in reaching the interior floor level.

The CT running boards mount at a level that is, essentially, the same level as the interior floor… which doesn’t help at all. In fact, I feel they make it worse.

When the truck is in a medium/high setting, you still have to step up high to get onto the running board. I don’t feel there’s any difference than when stepping that high to get in without the running boards.

If that isn’t bad enough, once you step up and onto the running boards and proceed to seat yourself, it’s terribly awkward trying to get seating from that high position.

You can emulate the experience now by opening the door, stepping in with both feet and standing (as best you can) in the floor of your truck then try to sit down.

Yeah.

Also, when in entry mode, they seem to just be completely in the way, which causes me to exit in a weird way (I fully expect to twist my knee or ankle).

Just my experience.
This exactly, I have to step over my boards on easy entry which is uncomfortable.
At normal ENTRY, there is no bar in ur CT to grab on too when entering the vehicle so you have to grab the yoke.
I'm taking mine off as soon as the weather warms up. Sucks as it makes the truck look even beefier than it already is.

All these brands and running boards are good and fine, and I respect all the efforts out there. But to me, without question, the T Sportline AeroMaxx plain are the best. They are super clean-looking and complement the aesthetic.

I put them on my CT last week. Super easy,
and I did it by myself. Here are the results.

They are a lower than the threshold.

I went with the CyberGearCo running boards. I really like them. They are a little big but they look good and really help with reaching the roof rack and for cleaning the truck. They also helped with getting in and out of the truck when lifted up, but now you can change it in the app so less of an issue. They go with the aesthetic and do not block the jack points. I had my tires rotated the other day with no issues at all.

Those look good, too. I just wanted ones that were solid throughout without cutouts. I like that aesthetic with the truck. I don’t think you can go wrong with either option.
