Camping out right now and wife is loving the boards as it’s in tent mode and higher at the front.

Usually want a bit of a gap between the truck and boards. At least for snow it's important.

Yep I hear ya. They are easily adjustable. When I put them on I wanted to see how it would perform/look before I put a gap. I prefer the close look of it but as we get into snow time I plan to adjust.

I bought the CRMods for $610

Although they were extremely simple to install, look great, and seem to be well constructed, I despise them.

Despise

I’ve had trucks for years and always added running boards due to the high stance and my wife “needing” them to climb into the truck.

In my experience, the running boards have always mounted in such a way that they are lower than the interior floor so that they are just what you’d expect… a lower, intermediate elevation step to assist in reaching the interior floor level.

The CT running boards mount at a level that is, essentially, the same level as the interior floor… which doesn’t help at all. In fact, I feel they make it worse.

When the truck is in a medium/high setting, you still have to step up high to get onto the running board. I don’t feel there’s any difference than when stepping that high to get in without the running boards.

If that isn’t bad enough, once you step up and onto the running boards and proceed to seat yourself, it’s terribly awkward trying to get seating from that high position.

You can emulate the experience now by opening the door, stepping in with both feet and standing (as best you can) in the floor of your truck then try to sit down.

Yeah.

Despise

Also, when in entry mode, they seem to just be completely in the way, which causes me to exit in a weird way (I fully expect to twist my knee or ankle).

Just my experience.

Do you have a photo showing this? It seems that not all brands are flush to the bottom of the door. Would be interesting to see how these compare.

I am not an off-roader. Parking on grass at an event and getting excited about going into high mode is about the extent of my non asphalt driving. My wife is vertically challenged and at times even in low mode finds it difficult to get in as she also has issues with her knees. So I looked around for running boards. I was not sponsored.
I found what I wanted and bought during the Black Friday reduced prices. (I paid $610)
i ended up getting the ones from CTmods.

https://www.ctmods.com/products/bla...rd-nerf-bars-for-tesla-cybertruck-accessories

Love the look and styling
Arrived relatively quickly (10 days I think from order)
Easy to fit
Do not block jacking points
Solid
Best of all…. My wife, 7year old son and small pug dog…. Love them.
Happy to answer any specific questions

What’s the distance between the top of the running board and the floor inside the cabin? I’m wondering how much lower it is as some have mentioned the running board is almost flush to the floor which then defeats the purpose.

I just posted an image above but went and measured it. It’s about 7inches below the floor. So definitely worth it

For running board owners who have no affiliation with, or kick backs from, part vendors - I’d love to know what brand you purchased, how much you paid, and how satisfied you are (0-10). I’m worried about making blind purchases.

My wife has complained that the truck is too high even when I have it set to lower when parked so I figured this is my best option.
Hey i just purchased my from Tesstudio and have the same reason my wife complained about the high .. here is a discount code HUGOREVIEWS

How much did you pay for them? Are you sponsored in any way by them (i.e. do you benefit in any way from promoting their products)?

Hello this is my true opinion , yes I’m sponsored by them. That aside I do greatly like the products as they very good quality, and I paid full price because I really wanted the running board

You can also buy them in Amazon and return them if you don’t like it

I am interested in the new AeroMaxx running boards with no logo. Waiting for T Sportline to provide the dimensions. If someone on this forum has them, please post pictures and the dimensions! That would be appreciated!

Those are the ones I am looking at. When will you be getting yours?
Can you post pictures and dimensions when you are able to?
