My experience is Mini is magnificent for connections. Phone calls over Apple Facetime audio from the bottom of the Grand Canyon, MS Teams calls while in-motion driving over Colorado's US40 Berthoud Pass in a snow storm.

One big advantage of Mini over other hardware is the all-in-one solution. One advantage of non-Mini Starlinks is faster speed...if you consistently need it.

I have Mini, a small battery, and a small solar panel in a Pelican Air 1555 waterproof case prepared for adventure. Small, powerful solution.

This was my 16 day Grand Canyon river trip connectivity solution. I’m going to add a second Goal Zero Sherpa 100 AC battery. The one (small) battery was about 60 minutes run time, sufficient for my needs, but a second would be nice. Everything had to be waterproof and compact, being on a white water rafting trip.

Tesla charger for scale. Kaizen foam fit a custom fit. Easy afternoon project. Two level "pallet" system for stacking/ organization.
