Thats a dangerous assumption if I’ve ever seen one.

Of course you are in LA so rain isn’t a thing.

You could come pick it up at the factory, I’ll buy you a beer. There is a local brewery that gives away pens. I’m not sure about that last, but there are so many breweries around here, there has to be one that gives away pens…
So, you live in Eugene area? With all the radical anarchists?

Alas, beer, whiskey, bourbon gives me instant heartburn. ?

Vodka, Gin, bad decision tequila, wine and sake are fine and would enjoy a drink if the opportunity presents itself. Especially when your CT order is filled.

My wife wants a small commuter as an extra vehicle and the bed will still allow to shop to her content, not mine.

The anarchists live in Oroville. A contingent did inhabit Malheur National Wildlife Refuge for a bit too I suppose, but that’s a bit of a drive from here.

There are a couple of interesting distilleries too. I don’t do wine myself. Gives me instant “Bleh, why did I drink bad grape juice”. We do have barley wine if that counts.

I was being snarky. Silverado’s 1300 pound capacity is pretty anemic for a truck but not quite that bad. This guy might have… 500-600 pounds maybe? Given the delta in sizes it’ll be a relative workhorse anyhow.

Now I’m picturing driving down the highway with 4 bales of hay strapped onto that little platform 2 each layer in a cris-cross pattern.
The problem isn't really being able to carry the weight, I have a utility wagon rated for 1000lbs, and I have done it too. The problem is when you load it down the center of mass moves up and back and will make it rather tippy.

It looks neat. My Chinese father-in-law has an EV just like it already.
Unlikely. This has toque vectoring and can get to 70mph and is highway legal in the US.

Not taking anything away from Arcimoto, but the competition is coming !
It is, but they have a plan for micro factories in countries they sell in. Small vehicles, small factories.

This would be a perfect commuter for my wife going to work. Only a few miles. Price will tell.
Mine doesn't want it because it's difficult to lane-split in it.

The advantage of having two wheels in the front means no tippy.

Also, did you see how the bed expanded in the back in the top photo, Ogre?

Highway capable, single seat. Does it get any smaller? The bed slides out to a full width, collapses down when not in use.

Arcimoto also said DC charging is in the future.Pretty cool, tho spouse wants something with at least four seats in our fleet.

Looks like a death trap if driven on the highway.

Light vehicles have their place, and reduce the overall risk to road-users.

-Crissa
Yeah I beleive that in that they become pillows for larger vehicles to slow down with.
