After reading some other posts I'm not sure it is included because the verbage in the orders say "capable". I agree about it being useful. I do know from my 2 months of subscriptions it kept me more alert not knowing what it was going to do next.
Kept you more alert because of unknown antics?! I'm dead...

Considerations:
1. How long to wait thru 230,000 preorder reservations (112988XXXX)
2. Price at this time is $20,000 more, a good reason to wait. However, I am 77.
3. The additional $20,000 includes $12,000 FSD.
4. FSD price will probably be increased by the time non FS trucks are available
5. Drivable FSD is getting close and would hate to miss out. FOMO
6. Auto Pilot may be rolled into the FSD package when it becomes available
7. Is FSD available yet on other model Teslas that have hardware 4 ?
8. Any other features other than FSD included that are worth considering in the foundation series?

Any thoughts on any or all of these considerations?
if it’s not going to substantially change your lifestyle (healthcare, food, utilities) then absolutely not worth waiting a year or more. BUY IT NOW. Congrats for being vibrant at 77.

FS doesn't guarantee a truck in a timely manner anymore. It's all about credits and big money shareholders.

The upcoming standard all season tires and wheel covers are going to look wimpy on the $79,990 Cybertruck.
That's a problem. I can tolerate no air to back truckbed, 100 mile towing range, gawkers by the ton, but...

Wimpy just won't do.

Haha. Shareholders haven’t even received an email confirming that Tesla reviewed their documentation. There is no shareholder program.

Gotta say, the mood lighting is also not to be undervalued…

I was very reticent to pay an extra $20k for FS but I think it’s easy to justify. Do we know the wheel package is only $3k? Might be more... And everyone will upgrade. I doubt there’s a car that’s ever been made that looks worse with undersized wheels.

$99/mo FSD just made the value of Foundation Series very hard to justify. Tesla should allow transfer of FSD when you buy a new car. The resale value of FSD is pathetic, and if the car ever gets totaled you are out of that money
