Finalized my order earlier this week when Non-FS became available in Canada.

I had a VIN assigned within a couple of days however my advisor says there is no ETA currently available for delivery.

I’d guess that since a VIN has been attached to my order, the vehicle has most likely produced already and it should just be a case of waiting for transport to my local Tesla store and prep for delivery.

Curious to see what everybody elses experience has been with their non-FS orders - hopefully we don’t have to wait long for our Cybertrucks!
I ordered on Feb 4.
I just got delivery notification. The delivery appointment options were March 6 or 8.

Also got my vin yesterday 655xx no delivery date yet. Got my insurance all lined up. Was pleasantly surprised as was about the same as my other Teslas. Only 1320.00 per year with a 5000.00 deductible

Part of why I am changing cars is insurance rates. After 4 years of reasonable rates for my 2019 Model X, I got a 20% and another 20% increase over the last two years.

The Cybertruck would be $1,300 less per year.

I ordered on the 4th of February then received my VIN on the 6th. Up to this date no message from Tesla yet. I didn’t know that I have to find insurance before the delivery. Should I do it now while waiting for the delivery? Is there anyone here from BC who can recommend where to get it? It will be my 1st Tesla. Thank you in advance for the response.

I'm from BC and this will be my 3rd Tesla. I've never had to purchase insurance in advance here and I'm 99% certain that we don't have to for this Tesla either.

Thank you. And do you have any estimate how much is the insurance for the CT here? I kept searching in the internet and someone said 1,400/ month.

Yep, no way it’ll be $1400 per month unless you’ve got a REALLY bad driving record  We’ve received one quote back so far of approximately $2000 per year which I thought was quite reasonable. I’m 32, my wife is 29 and we both have clean licenses.

Why are they advertising February delivery still on the website but people are only getting March dates.

What is wrong with them?

Are they at the service center fixing something on them before delivery?
