I guess I don't mind, because I share some of the same views.

I just couldn't imagine paying $40k more for an AWD CT that has less performance than my Lightning. If 0-60 means nothing to you, the AWD Lightning is fine. It is a spec that means a lot to me, which is why Beast > Lightning > AWD CT to me. I'd feel neutered driving around the AWD CT after going from a Lightning, I couldn't do it, I can't go backwards in performance. If someone is moving from an ICE truck to a AWD CT then it would be an easier transition.

Yeah, I want the performance, never get's old to me - M3P, KTM SuperDuke, etc....I like speed! And grated a truck so there's handling limits and not a direct replacement for the M3P in that context....but will be as fun as it can be with the Beast!

I'm getting it for all of the other cool shit the CT has. I'll wait for the beast vs. I was gonna get FSD and those extras anyways so the 20k ain't a mark up to me. And the lightning looks old and plan as shit

Unless you plan to drive the CT very slow, in which case I guess it doesn't matter.

Only the Lariat is 3.8s 0-60, right? And only if you got the battery upgrade, which gives you 320 range with AS tires, and only 150kw charge rate... but aside from that it seems like a great truck and I almost bought a Lightning... but the dealer got mad when I ran a shopping cart into the door to see if I should cancel my CT order
