Was about to purchase CitriSurf 2310 from Amazon, but it stated:
  • Not recommended for use with Tesla Cybertruck. Tesla recommends CitriSurf 77 for use on the Cybertruck as per the vehicle user manual. Follow manufacturer instructions carefully.
Key take aways:
  1. Follow instructions on label of CitriSurf 77
  2. Keep wet / moist using towel / blanket over stainless steel for up to 30 mins
  3. Rinse with distilled water for best results, then dry with microfiber cloth

How many bottles of the CitriSurf 77 22 fl oz is recommended for the whole truck? Can't believe a 22 fl oz bottle is selling for ~$40 on amazon. Sheesh!! Wonder if they hiked the price due to it being recommended as a cleaning solution by Tesla?

I read somewhere to use denatured alcohol? I have 91% isopropyl. Thought about soaking a rag with isopropyl alcohol and laying on the spot. Hand sanitizer? Could baking soda or peroxide work? I really appreciate you all give me ideas. I have this added to upcoming service request.
Eventually we'll get down to some of us suggesting a grinder with 80 grit sandpaper, or the ultimate equalizer: blowtorch.

I wonder if it is actually some sort of polish or wax? I looks like something that was wiped on.
Good question. Not by me. I didn't even know it was there until doing the CitriSurf process. Kinda looks like maybe hands or forearm rested on it maybe while working on something else. So far nothing I've done id elevating it. I'll log it and add pics to my service request and let them have at it.

Not to beat a dead horse. I did get a callback from CitriSurf. I tried explaining my situation. Per Tesla he did advise to only use CitriSurf 77. That may be out of caution. I kinda feel me and this guy from the link hit a similar situation. Just wish I had the solution to make look uniform.

Would definitely be a good idea as it eliminates the iron that is on the surface of the stainless, left from the manufacturing process and shipping. If left under the wrap would negatively effect the stainless surface.
Would off the shelf Iron Removers detailers use be worthwhile? I've used them in the past on other conventional finishes and they work really well for removing environmental iron contamination. https://gyeonusa.com/products/q2m-iron-redefined

Question - I tried the 2310 this morning. Not easy keeping it moist for 15-30 minutes but I kept spritzing it and spreading with a microfiber. I now have areas like these. How do I remedy? Is this from it starting to dry?

Why would you keep it moist for 15-30 minutes? The Tesla manual clearly says to let it is it for 3 minutes.

"Let rest for approximately 3 minutes, then remove the cleaner using a blue Scotch-Brite® Non-Scratch Scour Pad to lightly scrub and remove the surface contamination."
