Pixel 10 charges slow, but stays cool.

Just a data point: I got the new pixel 10 pro phone, and it charges in the truck better than my old pixel 8 pro. Slow, at ~4 watts or so, but it doesn't get as hot as the pixel 8 did. Spigen case on or off didn't seem to make a difference.

I'm more comfortable using the built-in phone cradle as it was intended now, to hold my phone and keep it topped off.

how do you like the phone? Thinking of switching from gogle Fi to Visable and getting the pixel 10 pro xl. Most money I have spent on a phone but I am getting older by the day and, well, my screenname!

Not earth-shattering, but I like it so far. It (the 10 pro) is smaller than the 8 pro, which was unexpected to me. But, the screen is better and it's plenty snappy. The image editing stuff in Google Photos is pretty amazing. I assume some of that is run locally with the new tensor chip, but don't know for sure. I need to explore some pixelsnap accessories for fun, now. I think that will add some fun utility. Handles and whatnot.

Photo editing example: I took the following "night sight" pic a few weeks ago in the dead of night when we had a particularly bright moon. The pixel 8 had the vertical flare artifact (dirty lens? I dunno...). I opened the pic on the pixel 10 and asked Google Photos to "remove the vertical streak" (literally, via the new AI editing prompt). I realize this is not particularly hard, but it was way easier than me fiddling in photoshop.

This is great to hear about the Pixel 10. Its on my purchase list after reading the reviews and features. I have a Pixel 9 and the 10 is on a whole new level.
