I'm aware the first ones may have issues. And after 2 years they will introduce features that are not backward compatible. And that the price for the better vehicle will likely be less than I am paying. That's historically how it works.

But when do you ever get to buy if you keep waiting for 'just the right moment"? You still might get that 1 in a 1,000 lemon.

My eyes are open, but I'm getting one as soon as I possibly can.

Yeah I ordered mine exactly 2 hours after the unveiling and my number is RN112808XXX. Not sure how to properly decode these RN#...

It's just a sequential number, starting at about 112744100. So subtract that from your number for your (approximate) place in line.

Keeping in mind the rollout will be regional, so your position in line is only good for your rollout region.

There may be a few other Tesla models that are reserved however the majority will be the CT.
