So I have a Tesla Wall Connector already installed in my garage for my wife's Model Y. Can the certified installer just use that same wire and 60 amp circuit breaker to install the powershare backup system and universal wall connector to? Shouldn't this be just a simple swap? Or does the powershare stuff require extra wires, etc. I am clueless on this stuff.

Just curious because I am not sure how far that is from the main electrical panel, but probably more than the 20 feet that Tesla requires. Does this even matter since I already have these wires ran through the house and to the main panels? Some background. I built a new house last year and had 3x 60amps wires to the garage. The one is connected to a Tesla Wall Connector, while the other two is on a NEMA 14-50 since I didnt need another Wall Connector for the time being.

Any help is appreciated

They may be able to use the existing wiring, but there's more that has to be done.
More than likely your house can use more than what the truck can provide. The high current items, like air conditioner may have to be seperated.

Unless that's a really new Wall Connector, you'll need the Powershare compatible version installed. Probably replace a 14-50 with that and you can set up a group charge limit.
The Powershare Gateway goes between your meter and main panel, or main and subpanel if you split off the backed up loads.

Thank you. So I should be fine technically. I already got the wires and breakers for three of those. They can choose one.
