Rack mounts are abysmal. Are there any billet pieces that attach to create a flat surface with female thread?

If I were still building a house, this is what I would want. A very well thought out design, the rear crossbar is even removable to better facilitate loading the bed. Pictures are from another thread, link below.

That rack is mondo. They ran a steel stringer along the entire sail. Well played. I can‘t tell if the towers are welded or attached with round female fittings on the stringer. If it’s the later, that makes a lot of sense. Plug and play.
