Anyone else notice that when it rains, especially at night that Sentry mode gets triggered like crazy for non events? Wish there was a way to stop this (hint hint to any Tesla engineers that might read this forum for ideas)

So do all my security cameras I think that’s the nature of motion activated cameras, it would seem that it would be impossible to not get false alerts.

Yeah. I sometimes just turn it off so I don't bother the neighbors so much.

You don't need to turn it off, you can just turn off the sentry warning sounds. You will still get recordings and phone alerts.

Mine doesn't do that in the rain and I keep sentry mode on 24/7.
Yeah, mine gets lots of rain and it doesn't trigger sentry, but it's normal to light rain, not torrential downpours. If normal rain is setting off Sentry, I think there's something wrong with it.

When I park at work I need to make sure I’m close to a wall or furthest from the street.. much of the passing traffic gets recorded.

Yes, this happens when in heavy rain. We drove to see family for Thanksgiving, had more than 75 events over night at one of the hotels.

I just wish there was a way to adjust for the weather.

Hmm, do you have any kind of coating on your windsheild? Rain seems to “stick” to mine and it really blurs out and streaks the camera, so it thinks any big movement is a sentry event on the windsheild

I’ve always used rain X on my vehicle windows and it helps quite a bit, but I don’t think that would keep the camera from reacting to the large raindrops.
