I didn’t see a payload spec. Looks like you might be able to carry a light Baja, Indy Car, or Jetski. That’s a pretty limited capability for the price!

Wicked! I kinda like the appliqué and trim replacements all by themselves! I can’t imagine the range with another vehicle strapped to the top of the vehicle, and that’s just not for me, but, wow! Super cool!

It’s giving …

Not a good idea to put 1000lbs+ that high up.

Interestingly enough- my dodge does fine with 1000 plus lbs on top. I also have a setup for my RZR1000 that weighs 1600 lbs. No issue whatsoever. Given the Cybertruck is one of the most stiffness suspensions I've ever had and the cg is so low on it, I wouldn't expect any issues putting 1600 lbs on it in that manner. I was pretty stoked to see this as I was considering building one myself that bolted up in the bed. This one is much better as you still can use the tonneau... :)

Wonder what the recommended speed would be on a freeway cloverleaf? I will take the guy from Alaska's setup. Everyone does that.

I think there is a difference between bed mounted sleds which are common place, and this product. This one goes higher, and much more forward. Maybe I am too plane in thought mind. CG is everything.

Do a moose test loaded up. I wouldn't want to be around to watch and cringe.

Hey all, I came across this thread talking about Raktical and excited to see it. It's actually my company..

In terms of stability, I believe it's exceptional compared to similar deckover systems. It has no problem cruising hwy speeds and achieving turns at whatever the posted speed sign is. We have been testing daily with the Sierra Car. It weighs in at 1600lbs, but our system shouldn't have a problem exceeding that. The main product that makes all this possible is called the baseRAK. It fastens to Cybertruck like no other truck can do. All bolt-on and no cutting into the vehicle while retaining full space in the truck bed for personal items. That is not the secret sauce, though. Two key structures are inside the bed walls of Cybertruck: a mass assembly and a tailgate tower. We utilize those as weight-bearing supports. Further, we mount our load-bearing brackets similarly to an arch bridge design. Then, you have our mid-structure, which consists of adapter plates, parallel rails, and cross bars. The mid-structure increases rigidity and load capacity even further. On top of the mid-structure is the rollRAK, which supports many different utility and recreational vehicles. The engineering and thought processes involved in these products did not come overnight. Fortunately, I had access to a Cybertruck in December 2023, but my idea came when I attended the 2019 Cybertruck launch event. It's been a long road to becoming a reality. We have many more products coming too!

Thanks!
We are confident 1700lbs is a safe capacity for Raktical rollRAK, but our rating goal is well above that. We have also tested with dummy weights that simulate four adult passengers and 400lbs of gear in the frunk and truck bed.
