Rattling Doors

Anybody's doors sound like two pieces of metal banging together inside them? I have already had the truck in 2 times for this. The first time they replaced the mirror and did the service bulletin that addresses this. But now it's worse.

Noticeable when you close the door. that's how I first noticed.

They have already done the tsb, and tried again after they did the tsb. I have an appt and it will be their third time addressing in in 90 days.

Thanks for that link though. This is perfect. I may try that and cancel my appointment

Seems they are not sealing the edges of the door with the correct adhesive...

You can try again or ask for a shop to do it well or try another SA...

I know this is unlikely, but have you tried tightening the strike plate? Also, what VIN range is this truck?

I haven't personally done anything yet to address it. Ive taken it to Tesla twice for this exact reason and have my third appt in a couple weeks. I have a foundation series in the 5000 vin range.

Looks like the key to the permanent fix is a flexible adhesive.

My third visit is in a couple weeks. They have made 2 attempts already to fix it.
