I step on the black plastic OEM bumper cover all the time, I haven't noticed any problem with scratches. It's kind of a non-shiny black plastic so scratches don't stand out and don't really matter.
Mine after 15k look not so bad. I stand on them all the time. I have a feeling that if I were to stand on some of the aftermarket ones I would scratch them. Like boots with mud and stuff. I do that on the current oem bumper and I pressure off. Looks like darn new. I guess people need to sell stuff.
