Hey my brothers and sisters! I come to you for clarity… ??
I’ve taken my CT to the SC twice to replace the center rear seat that folds down cause they keep getting installed with a tear on the stitching.
As you can imagine, it’s annoying to take it to service and leave it for days just for that.
Well, this last time (today) they finally installed one that’s not torn. However, they broke the lumbar support for that seat and tried to make it stick with tape… They also scheduled another appointment for two months ahead to repair this cause they don’t have the part.
So, now I need to drive with a jacked up rear seat and two ten year olds. This annoyed me further and I went to see if they messed up anything else back there. I’ve only gone back there a hand full of times and never really looked around. As the saying goes, f*** around and find out.
I came across a possible either design flaw, cheap build, or human error. You guys tell me what you think. See the pics attached.
Both rear seats seems to not be properly snapped in, loose, or just a crappy build from Tesla on the inner side towards the center seat that was replaced twice.
