Rearview camera display- if Tesla engineers take suggestions I have a request

I have the rearview mirror on all times in the left side of the screen. When I turn on the turn signal, the display becomes larger to show the side view. I wish the rearview mirror would do that all the time on the left side. It doesn't have to be as large as the view when cameras are on the right side of the screen and I definitely need the maps. The animation is not useful to me, and real estate could easily house a larger rear view. If I had that, I would be considering an aux rear view camera.

I know, wish in one hand, crap in the other, see which fills up first.

Yup. I wish we can zoom in and size the rear view accordingly. I feel like it's just a software thing that can be implemented.

Absolutely agree. For those of us with less than perfect near vision, a larger display view that had a narrower field of view (more like what you get with an actual rear view mirror) would be incredibly much better. I suspect that the rear view camera has enough resolution to pull it off.
