IMHO, the total root of all of this are people who want to "Cancel" Musk. They get mad at us because we don't play that game. They see us buying $100K+ trucks and those fools get mad because they see income coming in to Musk. So they take that crap out on us... trying to bully us into being shamed. I have one thing to say to them...

They are right and I don’t think it’s harsh at all. The cyberstuck subreddit is a cult that harasses r/cybertruck and tesla owners.

In the past reddit quarantines and bans subreddits like that, like they did to r/the_donald, but they have failed to take action against cyberstuck in this case.

You’re not helping the other already beleaguered tesla owners on reddit by posting additional nonsense to cyberstuck for some karma.

I don't have a problem with the initial ban. I sincerely didn't realize things had gotten that bad. I occasionally had CyberStuck stuff pop up and just thought it was satire.

I love my car and what Tesla has done for the industry but I also can find the humor in some of it as well.

My issue is... I've done all I can to make up for my mistake. Deleted the post immediately and apologized. I've been a positive contributor to those communities in the past, and I've tried to fight some of the misinformation on the CyberStuck sub. Just seems like it wouldn't be such a big risk to give someone another chance? Do we really need to eat our own like this?

Interesting choice for a first post on Cybertruck Owners Club. I understand why they made the Cybertruck reddit private, it was being trolled relentlessly. I understand why they don't want to deal with even the slightest rule breaking from Reddit users at this point and, honestly, I'm all for aggressive banning. I think from a humanity standpoint, it was a decent move to delete your post from CyberStuck... but now you're banned from a community you cared about. Whacha gonna do?

I'd say forget about it. Just take the ban in stride and avoid getting wrapped up in that silly stuff, even the seemingly innocent trolling. Throwing chum into the CyberStuck community only makes them bark at the clouds a little longer. They'll eventually move on to spend their days senselessly hating on something else that is too different for them or something they don't understand.

If you want a good, healthy Cybertruck community. This is the place to be.

Thank you, I appreciate that. Figures that old school forums are still the way to go ?. Just disappointed because I did enjoy those communities and contributing/learning from them. Maybe if I follow up with them in a few months they'll have a change of heart, but unfortunately that's not the vibe I'm getting.

Still looking forward to owning a Cybertruck in the future. My Model 3 ruined me for other car brands and there's just no going back.

Totally off-topic but I pull a fairly large boat with my Model 3. I get lots of interesting comments at the ramp every time. Mostly positive, but some that are clearly judgemental. I understand there's still a great deal of Tesla hatred and misinformation out there. It's a shame because damn, what an amazing experience it's been with towing. Can't wait to be pulling it with a Cybertruck.

Fun story.... Yesterday I realized r/Cybertruck went private, and submitted a request to join describing that I'm a Tesla fan and in line for the CT. Then I came here to see if I could find a discussion about it and read some of this thread.

A bit later, I get an automated response from my request, basically saying that there are strict rules for being admitted to the sub, including being a verified owner among other things. I responded with "That's retarded" because it is indeed retarded.

Almost instantly, I was permanently banned from r/Cybertruck, r/TeslaModel3, r/TeslaLounge, and r/TeslaMotors. This morning I woke up and got a notification that I was temp-banned from Reddit itself for three days for "harassment."

Whoever runs that subreddit is a king dingleberry.

Just got on reddit assuming there was an R/Cybertruck group I should join and participate in. Searching exactly for that won't even bring it up. SO it appears anyone already in it is all there will ever be? Thats a bit silly, I'm not going to chase someone down to beg to get in. I'll just stick to here and Facebook I guess.

You are under the impression they are willing let alone capable of having a rational, logical conversation with you. I'll let you in on something, they are incapable and it's best to not even try.

I read someone posted to Uber asking how when they request an Uber to stop getting drivers that drive Teslas because they wanted to do their part in stopping evil Elon and his billions of dollars. wtf? smh!
