I thought FSD was good too until... My wife got Version 14.1.3 on her Model S. Wow, what a game changer! I've yet to have to take over control in a dozen plus drives. Unbelievable! I drove my CT today and FSD felt clunky and cumbersome. Didn't feel that way before but it does now! Can't wait to get it on the CT!

What’s the argument why the driver shouldn’t have control on setting the vehicle to a particular speed?
(After all, the driver is responsible for anything over the speed limit if/when stopped by law enforcement.)

I thought the same way. On my wife' model S with V14, Sloth Mode does the speed limit, Chill Mode does a couple of miles over, Standard does about 6 miles over, Hurry does about 10 miles over and Mad Max does about 20 over. These are maximums, the car adjusts speed based on traffic and conditions. I thought I'd hate it as I'm always using the speed adjustment on V13 but it's actually pretty smooth. If I want to slow down or speed up, I just adjust the speed profile. Turns out I like it better.
