Your video repeats, you might want to trim it down. Are you going to show the bracket you made? The more I look at these version 1 screens the less and less I like them, even though I like having Waze. The mounting position as sold is terrible, they need to offer an option to mount it similar to how you did but along with cable management through the bracket arm (make the arm tubular to run the wires through) and of course these version 1 screens still have the issues like not adapting to the automatic screen dimming. The early part of your video with it on at night is just to blaring in your face, I wouldn't want to drive with that. I also think it is asking too much of people to remove their door panels just so the image on their screen will show whether the door is open or closed. I'd happily give up that feature on the smaller screen since it is already on the large screen if it meant not having to pull the door panels off and possible break some clips or create rattles.

I applaud you for trying to make one of these screens usable for yourself, but I am going to wait for version 2 or beyond until some supplier gets it right...

If u don't plug the doors in the screen does not power on.my laptop died so I lost footage I tried to salvage what I had. I ended up not making a bracket. Just to much work without yoke steering wheel it's just to hard to see unless you mount it like I did. It does need autodim. I agree

I will pass the feedback on auto-brightness to our product design department. Thank you for your suggestions.

I will also pass on your other suggestions to the designers. I hope that our next version will be liked by everyone.

What I meant by the doors is they made it rely on those, they could have made it so the door modules were not required and the penalty would have been not having the feature that shows the doors being open on the small screen. Because they wanted that feature they made the door modules required. I wish they wouldn't have made that choice because it is a lot of work for very little return and it wasn't necessary.

Whomever designed this first version needed to spend more time getting owner feedback before making some of the decisions they did, like basically requiring a yoke steering wheel to see the thing. Why it doesn't autodim is beyond me, my 5 year old Hansshow secondary screen in my Model 3 autodims so I would assume these manufacturers know how to do that...
