I’ll let CT do its thing and have sales number tell the story. Haters will hate, but there is no rule anywhere that says haters won’t turn into fanboys. Two of my friends who hated Cybertruck put the deposit after seeing it in real. Cybertruck will sell itself, and those who continue to hate even after driving it are the ones who live in oblivion. Probably they want to justify the other cars that they desperately want to hold on to.

This isn’t an unbiased review. And that’s an important filter to process his opinions through. He is clearly frustrated, hurt, angry, or something at Tesla. He was also clearly biased with the selection of people he chose to share their opinions of the truck. In all, the video lacked any cohesion and didn’t even really tell a story at all; the video and review quality was just as lazy and uninspired as he claims the Cybertruck is. He is right on several things but those are things that have been regurgitated over and over again. This was a giant waste of his time, his (2) sponsor’s money and he knew that going into it. Thankfully he’s entitled to his opinion.

That said: I don’t consider myself a Tesla fanboy but I probably am. I’m certainly not an Elon fan and I ask myself constantly if people are loving the Cybertruck so much despite the flaws and issues because they sunk $100,000 into it (sunk cost fallacy). That could certainly be the case along with the fact that we’ve all been waiting four years to get our hands on one.
