Interesting.

Rivian really did a nice job designing their R1T. And it came out several years before the Cybertruck.

Competition is good. Maybe Tesla will learn some tips from Rivian, and implement those into the 2025 CyberTruck.

I think most people will be open minded about the Cybertruck in the real world.

People get into all these arguments about the Cybertruck compared to other electric trucks or even ICE trucks, but electric trucks are their own market and I personally think that the current 3 electric trucks are each in their own individual category at the moment.

Even here, people will get into debates over the design, features, capabilities and everything else about what the Cybertruck can and cannot do. But I think that as soon as we have more of these out in the world and people have received their own, this era of Cybertruck debates will be mostly over and we can just happily drive them around and use them for our own specific reasons.

I’d get a Rivian but have concerns about service availability, since service centers are almost non existent.

Jerry rig did a tow test and the highway road noise was terrible, maybe the load on the drivetrain was causing it.
I do like the durability of the SS, larger box, steer by wire, 4WS & 48V & front view of the CT.
In my view the back half of the CT is as unappealing as the bulbous front of the R1S/T.
If the CT had 30% more range(stock)/towing capacity I would likely switch from the Rivian or the R1S & CT(160kwh) could make a good combo.
I wish I had less range said no EV truck user ever.
Sounds like he is keeping the RIvian.
