Anyone know of a solution to mount a TV to the roof of the Cybertruck, similar to how the BMW i7 does it? It would really take camping trips, to the next level for my son(and me). Currently I'm using an iPad and pairing the audio through Bluetooth to the vehicle.

13" iPad holder on seat back works temporarily when driving but I want to try mounting a bigger 120hz OLED wide TV to the roof for an even more immersive experience for us.

I bought a power sun shade slider from teststudio and might see if I can get it to mount into that somehow. It would likely be too heavy to be motorized though, which is fine.

I've used camera mounting hardware to hold portable laptop monitors onto the roof glass. I used 3M VHB double sided tape to mount Arca Swiss rails on the back of the monitors. They then can be easily attached and removed from camera mounts. Note, you need to use mounts for larger cameras. Not the ones for action cameras and phones. The suction cups I use are 4.5" and 6" in diameter, and use a pump to create the suction. They will hold a DSLR camera to the outside of a car at 77 MPH. I also use them for temporarily mounting antennas I'm testing.

If the monitor has VESA mounts those threaded holes can be used to mount the Arcs Swiss type rail with screws.

An Arca Swiss style plate like this: https://amazon.com/Fotasy-Release-Arca-Swiss-Standard-Ballhead/dp/B00KC9V8IC can be VHB taped or screw mounted to a TV or monitor. Remove the rubber pads, then VHB tape that semi flat surface to the middle monitor back. The ones I used are out of stock. Those bevels on the bottom are what make it Arca Swiss clamp compatible.

This is the 4.5" suction cup I have 2 of https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BFLTXZQ8 Out of stock. Image shows one attacked to a window holding a DSLR camera. The threaded holes are 1/4" or 3/8" standard photography threaded. The small holes are alignment pin holes.

I used some 15mm clamps and rods to bridge to an Arca Swiss clamp to hold the monitor. That allows a much flatter mounting than a ball head would have allowed.

I need to photograph some of what I've done with camera mount bits. I've now talked twice about it here.

I'm trying another option before I can figure out how to permanently mount a TV to the roof. Now I need to find a VESA arm mount that's super beefy and try to bolt it into the seat frame.
