Has to be a 1 between the 5 and 9. You can just barely see the vertical line.

find who they are insured through and send them the video. 1,000% chance this driver shouldn't even be in this country.
I've noticed an obvious deterioration in the professionalism of truck drivers over the last 6-8 years. It's bad. There are still some good ones but they are beginning to be outnumbered. Tesla Semi with FSD can't happen too soon!

I drive a Freightliner coast to coast sometimes. This whole thing sounds like the truck never even saw you Sir.
Do you honestly believe he would risk his livelihood because he doesn't like Cybertrucks?
Could be, but my money is on he never saw you Mr 65SoYoLO.

This is why FSD is supervised.

1) you can see in multiple frames the truck driver’s face/silhouette, so the truck was definitely within his view

2) said truck driver gestures at the camera car (cybertruck) as he goes by. Personally I’d call it a “gtfo of my way” gesture more than an apology wave

3) as the semi is about to commit the crime you can see the driver’s face in the mirror and IMO it looks like he’s carefully monitoring his bad decision

4) the straw man of hating on a ct seems oddly placed; it seems pretty obvious this dufus missed his exit and made a bad choice. The logic of risking his career meaning it was accidental is about as sound as a trucker’s judgement who thinks cutting across even an unoccupied lane (which it was not) versus simply taking the next exit was the smart choice.

To answer your exact question, yes, people make bad driving decisions quite often. It’s the FOREMOST obligation of truckers, driving the largest vehicles on the road, to specifically not pull this kind of life-threatening baloney.

DOT is pretty strict about the name on the cab being the legal name.. SAFER search only turns up one "EZGO Inc", so... my money is on 4095196 as well. If you look at the screencap... the one is.. kinda there? I think it's just very narrow compared to the other numbers, so it's hard to see in motion.
There is an epidemic of fraudulent heavy trucking registrations going on right now; has been a mess for several years. These people are responsible for THOUSANDS of deaths in our country.

I was on FSD, the truck started to come over but I thought he was just wandering out of his lane a bit, I figured he would cut it back. He did not. He continued to come over and FSD took the exit. I took over, caught him at the light, and I managed to control myself and not spend the 250th birthday of the USA, in jail. If someone can figure out the entire USDOT number, let me know. It is too distorted.

This just happened to me about a month ago and I have seen many illegal maneuvers in by semi trucks in my area lately.

I had a similar situation a few years ago on Rt 13 southbound on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. FSD lit up the brake lights approaching a reduced speed limit, apparently enraging a trailing semi driver. Tesla’s dashcam caught everything, including two attempts to run me off the road. Both times FSD handled it beautifully, pulling to the right onto the wide shoulder.

About ten miles later I pulled off at a Royal Farms convenience store just before the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel to get coffee. The truck driver saw this, stopped, ran into the store yelling about brake checking, and punched me in the face as I stood in the checkout area. I was wearing a business suit and tie, headed to a board meeting in Virginia Beach, had a small amount of nose bleed on my white shirt. The older ladies running the store yelled “Oh snap” and called the police, as he ran out of the store. He got in his truck but was stopped at the toll booth a mile south, and apparently decided to drive back. He had no idea how much video evidence existed. By then the store was full of state police. The store manager showed them the video of the guy hitting me (pretty good shiner), and I showed them the dashcam videos of the truck tailgating me, then trying to run me off the road twice. The driver was taken away in cuffs. I was later subpoenaed to testify at the trial, where he was convicted and, due to an extensive record, given 30 days real time (local jail) and two years probation with community service.

A twist is that the driver worked for a large local tomato farming operation where we know the owners - one of their large fields is near our oyster farm. I could have sued him and them, decided to accept their multiple apologies and drop it, as I had no lasting injuries and he didn’t actually hit my car (2019 Model X), so the damages were mostly laundry.

Good luck finding the guy - I’m a believer in following this kind of stuff to the end on principle.

Did not look all that bad actually - he was quite a ways in front of your car
After he pushed me over onto the ramp. And the cameras are wide angle, it is much closer then it looks. I was not intending to get off that exit.

1) The Truck may have lost his main air compressor, that powers his brakes. In this scenario, he would have about 60 to 90 seconds I'm guessing before the truck forces him to pull over by locking up the brakes.

2) Why didn't you hit your brakes when the truck was coming over?

3) I am surmising that that the Truck driver was watching you yielding to him as he exited and continued his exit figuring you were also exiting. Because you yielded to him, he was able to pull off this maneuver, risking heavy tire damage to accomplish and take the exit. And upset anyone in your shoes, to say the least.

4) As experienced as we are all, whoever has NOT done this maneuver with their car like the truck did, throw the first stone or formal complaint in this case at him.

Also to consider, there are highway truckers and city truckers. I have never seen a highway trucker do this type of maneuver. I do see city truckers drive horribly at times.

Your call 65SoYoLO. This particular trucker, may very well be a danger to society and needs somebody to report him.
