It is pathetic that Tesla doesn't tell its customers much of anything on these issues. You're just expected to plop down $100,000 to $120,000. and hope all the rumors and unofficial posts will pan out. Not a way to run a company!

Most people are smart enough to know that the rumors and unofficial posts are BS.

This will be my 3rd Tesla that I plopped down money on, sight unseen and never regretted a second on the first two.

The same type of Internet thing happens with just about EVERY product that anyone ever creates, not just Tesla, not just vehicles. Go to phone forums and hear all the crap that people make up.

It's so fun to listen to someone mentioning something casually and then it blooms into a catastrophic event.

Tesla give away for free software updates that will improve the performance of the vehicle.

However, hardwares had to be bought and installation paid.

Better batteries with longer range for Cybertruck can probablh be bought in rhe future but will likely be very expensive.

I'm on my second Tesla (a 2018 M3P) and generally very happy with the car (which was bought 'sight unseen') and I just note that it is not a great way to run a company (and many of the Tesla/Musk fanboys don't seem to mind so we can leave it at that.)

PS: FSD must have the record for longest 'beta' period, going on 5 years!

Compare with the way Apple just released their Vision Pro headset. They provided lots of information, including aspecs and videos on the device.
