this was an issue on refresh S/X back when I worked at tesla, the interior team was working on fix thou. This was 2-3 years ago.

The scroll wheels are metal and will likely be hot if in direct sunlight or if the ambient temp is hot inside vehicle, but should cool off with the AC on.

Ok then yeah something is up with mine. They’re hot coming from inside the wheel, not ambient temp

edit: weeks later, I’m realizing it is the ambient temp when the car is sitting due to the buttons being metal and retaining heat longer. On cooler days they’re just room temperature.
