My driver side exterior door open button stopped working about three weeks ago. I have seen threads on here. That other owners have had the same issue. It took about 2 1/2 weeks to get a service appointment where I clearly explained what the problem was.
today I showed up for my service appointment and they simply push the button and verified that it wasn’t working. They told me they needed to keep my truck for two or three weeks while they gave me a loaner. I refused and said, order the part and let me know when I can bring it back. Now we are at another two weeks.
I feel like potentially five weeks to get any type of service for a small repair is excessive
Has anyone else run into these issues?

It will take some time for parts. Just the nature of owning such a new vehicle.

Least they offered a loaner. They told me I don't get a loaneronday after a 2 and a half hour drive. I asked them if they plan to Uber me to and fro from work for the next few weeks? Can't get anyone except an employee who won't help on the phone. Have requested service manager call and have escalated to higher up in CS but it's been crickets.

Service is horrible all over USA.
I'm too upset to write.
They really making us mad and don't care.
Only remedy I see is to document it and fire letters to HQ SERVICE in Palo Alto CA. That got my issue fixed immediately on my S.
I don't HQ sees or hears this up rising.

The customer service survey is the key to where you can voice your opinion. Tesla seems to take those very seriously. After my first visit, I replied with a complaint about my vehicle being returned extremely dirty (after 4 days) when I dropped it off basically in a freshly washed state. It was never that dirty again on future visits.

The Irvine SC that I take mine to has been great for me. First proposal would be to find a different SC but based on the driving times it doesn’t sound like a viable option.

Limited SC's have gotten worse and worse over the years as they sold more cars but barely opened new SC's.

It's mind boggling you can create a car company and not leverage the Service Aspect. All other Car dealerships know Service is the money after the sale you want to secure. Tesla has its monopoly but refuses to expand.
