I had a similar issue. Took mine in and they adjusted mine. I still wasn’t satisfied so I took everything apart and did it my self. Now I’m satisfied. Some key take away was first adjust the black bump stops. To me it looks like you drivers side bump stop need la to be lowered a bit.
If that doesn’t work then you’ll need to adjust your latch mechanism which is pretty easy.
Do you have some before and after pics?

Please post a how-to / quick write-up on doing these adjustments. TIA

On delivery day. the service rep that delivered my car encouraged me to note all the issues I saw with misalignments and such and took an hour to go around the car and nitpick while he took notes and photos. Then he scheduled an appointment to come back and leave the car so they could address the issues. The appointment was at a different location than the delivery center. When I arrived, they said most of the issues notated would not be addressed since the current policy is not to do so for minor issues such as misalignments and fender gaps. I suppose it's fine since the car is great otherwise and fender gaps do not bother me but just wondering if this is what everyone else is experiencing.
I have an Appointment 8/21/24 to address inoperative Tonneau/Tailgate switches in the rain. I’ll let you know how it goes...

This is a common Tesla experience. The Sales Advisor tends to over-promise at delivery, but the Service Center has their own standards.

Of course, sometimes the SC just doesn’t want to be bothered, so some owners have resorted to quoting from the Service Manual to justify the necessary adjustments.

For simple adjustments and things that don’t require replacement parts, you’re probably better off doing it yourself.

I fixed my gaps and panel alignment issues myself. Very easy to do.

I don’t have a before because I brought it up during service to address a different issue, but here is the after.

Make a video or explain how to adjust the frunk. Mine is lower on one side and perfect on the other and it seems like it would be an easy adjustment but the SC refused to do it and when I spoke directly to the tech he said that if they fixed one side then the other side would be off.

This is why I sent a detailed message in the app immediately so that there is a record on file of everything. Extremely important to have it in writing.

Mine was way off too, soon as I go home adjusted the bump stops and it's perfect. Some of this stuff is just simple and ask them to do it could cause more problems than solutions.

I have doubts that OP is a real human. Check out when he posted a picture of his CT, and zoom in on the background. The fence behind the truck and the city are clearly AI generated.

Granted it is possible that they just copied a random picture to enter the contest, but I am skeptical.

OP if you are human, I am sorry this happened to you. Keep pushing the SC to fix the issues, in life the squeaky wheel gets the oil.

Im no making a video but the steps are easy. Just follow the instructions in the tech write up. Once you remove the frunk floor area, you’ll see the latch assemble that is held by two bolts. Loosen the two bolts and and adjust the position of the latch assembly. Open and close the frunk each time you adjust the latch until you are satisfied.
