I saw only one this weekend... someone with a non-foundation sporting the cyber wheels and two big kayaks with the custom plate power backup coming back from the mountains.

Definitely envied their cruising like they were on FSD while I rowed my way through traffic with only manual transmission... Looked so comfy.

I didn't take any photos but I can share a funny moment. I was on my way home from an errand and had to cross a local bridge which I failed to remember was the main spot for fireworks that night. So, I ended up getting stuck in traffic surrounded by people (and lots of kids, of course) walking to the bridge.


I cannot even begin to explain the amount of brain melting/screaming/freaking out done by these kids when they saw the truck. An entire group of ~10 year olds dropped to their knees, pulling on their hair... screaming "IT'S A CYBERTRUCK!!!" like the world was ending. As I inched forward, the domino effect continued... one kid yelled, they all turned and yelled. I was laughing hysterically.

Lots of comments and thumbs ups from the parents, too.

I'm pretty adverse to that amount of attention but that was my fault, I literally drove straight into it.

I'm guessing part of the fascination is that the truck was featured in Fortnite?
