The glass is marketed as “shatter resistant” (queue the cool gif of them throwing an ice ball at the window) but it appears to be susceptible to scratches. I’m not surprised, phones glass is like this too. It’s either scratch resistant or shatter resistant. It can’t be both.
I was cleaning my truck and opened the rear passenger side door when I heard a scraping sound. A little rock must have gotten caught on the rubber window liner and scraped the window deeply as it rolled down. Anyone know how I can fix this on the tinted rear window? It’s an eyesore and very noticeable from the inside of the truck.
