Tesla stock closed yesterday at $1025.05. A new record for the company.

So I ordered the single motor because I drive that far evey day.
Was a mistake? If so is it easy to upgrade order to dual motor.
The site where you placed your order makes it easy to upgrade.
Should you?
If you live where the driving conditions include snow and ice, the 2 and three motor options are 4WD and safer.
If you frequently take trips more than 250 miles, the three motor is a must. i tell folks that is my reason for selecting the 3 motor. I take a > 250 mile trip every year or so, but have several scenic ones in mind. Since COVID-19 has made air travel risky, I may see more of the US and less of Eurpe this year. Since I live in SC almost everything interestng is far away.

If you want to startle the teenies in their Camaros or the MDs in their Porsches, the three motor is a must. My midlife crisis will outrun theirs, but seats 6 and has a remarkable 100 cubic feet of luggage space, and lets me tow 14000 lbs if I decide to get a BIG boat.

Yes, I am spending my daughter's inheritance. She is an attorney married to the owner of one of the largest printing companies in the SE US, so I need a toy more than she needs my money.
